Please use the order form below to order your APE products. We will contact you within 2 business day with a price for all parts ordered. Thank you for placing your order with Autothority|Pitstop.

Pricing:

All prices listed are at retail value. They reflect the most current pricing available at the time of writing. To be sure of the purchase price before ordering, please verify with us because changes are frequent in this business. The price at the time of invoicing will prevail on all orders.

Payment Terms:

In order to provide our customers with the lowest possible pricing we do not extend credit terms. All sales must be prepaid or COD. We do accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Please state the account number, expiration date, and full card holder name. We also accept certified bank checks or drafts, and international money orders. These must be in U.S. Dollars and payable at a U.S. bank. We can accept personal checks and will ship as soon as they clear our bank. COD to all retail customers must be made with certified funds only. Re-sellers, please see next section.
Note: All special orders require a fifty-percent deposit.

Becoming an Authorized Re-seller:

To qualify as an Autothority Performance Engineering re-seller and to receive current discount and pricing information, your business' authenticity must be determined. Before the initial order we require; by mail or fax, a copy of your business license, letterhead, listing in your local yellow pages, and/or a photo of your business. In order to pay COD by company check we need to receive a completed Company Check Acceptance Form. This is available by mail or fax. Once qualified, your first order can only be shipped for certified funds (credit card, money order, or bank check). Note: No overnight or priority shipments are available on the first order.

Core Charges:

Some items are sold on an exchange basis. We add a core deposit at the time of sale. Cores must be returned in sellable condition within 30 days of invoice date to receive the full credit of the deposit. All cores must be returned freight prepaid and bear an Incoming Authorization Number.

Shipping:

We offer UPS Ground Track, UPS Second Day, UPS Next Day, as well as Federal Express shipping services. These services incur different shipping charges. Please call for shipping rates pertaining to your order. Overnight orders must be placed before 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time and must be for in stock items only. COD shipments will be charged a $7.50 service charge and Drop Shipments a $10.00 charge.

Shipping Error / Damaged Shipments:

If you receive an incorrect item, call us immediately. If it was our error then we will ship a replacement via Next Day Service at our expense. If the error was not ours then the original item will need to be received before its replacement can be shipped out. If this proves inconvenient then a charge must be applied to the customer's credit card equal to the price of the replacement. This charge will be refunded in full once the original is received, undamaged and complete.

All merchandise leaves our facility properly packaged and in perfect condition. When you receive your shipment, please inspect your order immediately in the presence of the delivery person. Although we will do our best to assist, damage claims must be made with the freight carrier (you must keep any and all packing materials). Autothority Performance Engineering is not responsible for damage incurred during transit.

Back Orders:

Customers will be notified of any delay over two weeks in the shipment of an order with the option of receiving a full refund. All back orders will be shipped when ready unless we are notified otherwise. If you wish to cancel any items that are back ordered, call us immediately. Orders not properly cancelled will incur shipping and handling charges.

Materials / Specifications:

We constantly update our products and merchandise to offer the absolute finest parts and accessories available. Prices, materials, design, specifications, and part numbers are subject to change without notice. All merchandise information presented in the catalog was true and correct at the time of publication. Only our computers contain the most up to date information so contact us to make any clarifications.

Guarantee:

Autothority Performance Engineering offers a thirty-day money back guarantee. If during this time period you are not completely satisfied with your order you may return the item(s) for a full refund of the purchase price provided that the terms in the [Returns] sections are followed. Freight and/or labor is non-refundable. This guarantee does not apply to special orders or to items for which we are not the manufacturer (in which case the manufacturer's warranty will apply). Please verify with us if you have any questions before ordering.

Warranty:

Autothority Performance Engineering warrants chip/software for one year to the originial purchaser. Special Ordered "CHIPS" (Custom programmed) are not warrantied.

The warranty shall not apply if the product, or any part thereof, is not used in accordance with A.P.E.'s instructions (Autothority will not be liable for improper installation of our products), the product or any part thereof is altered, modified, or converted without the written approval of A.P.E. or the product is damaged or rendered unserviceable by accident, negligence, misuse, theft, vandalism, fire, water or other peril, malfunction of equipment, or otherwise.

No warranty is expressed or implied for any A.P.E. product used in any form of racing or other competitive, high-speed, on or off-road application, including the driver's schools organized by various enthusiast clubs.

The foregoing is a limited warranty and it is the only warranty made by Autothority. Customer receives no other warranty, expressed or implied, and there are expressly excluded all warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, A.P.E. shall have no liability with respect to its obligations under this agreement for consequential exemplary or incidental damages including, but not limited to, lost profits, even if it has been advised of the possibility of such damages, regardless of the form of the claim, A.P.E liability for any damages to customer or any other party shall in no event exceed the amount paid.
