Flow Tech Intakes

There is potentially no greater thief of low-end torque than obstructing the path of slow moving intake air. That is part of the problem when you are a manufacturer the size of BMW, VW, and Porsche. You have to satisfy a myriad of requirements in production that often fly in the face of performance. Fortunately, we do not have such restrictions.

During some experimentation with our three-liter 330 RS, we designed an intake airflow system that dramatically improves the ability of your engine to breathe. By replacing the factory airbox with a cold-air nozzle and a K&N cannister-style filter, this easy bolt-on provides gains in horsepower and torque as high as 8% with no other modification. Peak power is up 12 horsepower, and the intake sound is invigorating.
